Yet Another Rainy Day

This is a lovely book – essentially a love story wrapped up in a sci-fi premise of a café where you can travel back in time. The book seems to take place solely in that café but because it is asking those big questions about what you would do or say if you could go back in time, it does not seem constricted.

The story of Kohtake and Fusagi, whose relationship has been impacted by dementia, is particularly poignant when considering going back to the past given how the disease causes precious memories to slip away.

I am only halfway through this book but it is one of those where I want to keep reading to find out more.
